MDCC34 - Thursday Card Challenge - A Two-fer!!

Hello and welcome to MDC's Thursday card challenge! We had a little computer drama last week and weren't able to post, so we still need to pick a winner from our Paintables challenge - here is Carla's painted card:

Beautiful job Carla - we'll get your paintables out this week!!

Now, even though we couldn't post last week, our design team still came up with some fabulous creations to share - so, this week there's a two in one challenge! We're going to post last week's challenge and this week's challenge, and you can choose to play one or both challenges AND two prizes will be awarded - one for each category!!

Last week's challenge was make a card that included a photo - check out the design team's beautiful examples:

Maria Levine - Ria Creations
Maria used paper from Scenic Route and a stamp and silk flower from Imaginisce.

Katheryn Heflin - My Children My World
Katheryn used paper from Bo Bunny and stamps from Daisy Bucket.

Dawn Schulte - Dawn's Special Creations
Dawn used paper and a seniment stamp from Daisy Bucket, bling from Kaiser, ribbon from May Arts, and an image stamp from Imaginisce.

Now, for this week's challenge all you need to do is create a border and include it on your card! And here are more beautiful samples from our design team:

Melissa Earnest - MME Designs

Melissa used paper from Imaginisce and an image stamp from Serendipity.

Leah Cornelius - Paper Blossoms

Leah used paper from SEI and an image stamp from Serendipity.

Cathy Weider - The Seaside Rose Cottage
Cathy made edged ATC cards and a folio using papers from Bo Bunny and sei.

As always we want to thank all the talented ladies on our team - without them these challenges wouldn't be possible, and they do such a wonderful job showcasing our product!!

Playing along is simple - just leave a comment on this post with a link to your photo. In your photo description please include a little statement that says you're playing along with us - that's it! Next week we'll have TWO winners that will each win sample packs from one of the brand new 6x6 paper packs from Memory Box, Sugardrop - woo hoo!! Thanks so much for stopping by today - hope you can find some time to play along!

I'm back with a card for the second challenge - to create a card with a border. I made my border using a MS punch and a white gel pen to decorate it.

I think I'm on the right thread and I hope my card with it's cuttlebug borders counts for your challenge. This is my favourite border at the moment.
HERE IS MY CARD
