MDCC19 - Card Team - Holiday Table Decor

Good morning everyone! We're in week two of our card design team search, and boy have we had some great responses! I want to thank everyone who has played so far, and encourage everyone to try out... you'll never make it if you don't apply! Check out all the details in this post.

Last week we had an awesome sketch challenge by Maria - and so many beautiful cards resulted! Our winner is this super cute penguin card by Melissa:

Melissa, thank you so much for playing along with us... be sure to email me your address so I can send you your holiday rub-on pack!! And thank you all for playing along - it is so fun seeing the variety and creativity that results from a simple sketch challenge!

This week we have another fun challenge for you - a table decor item. I so love browsing around and finding all the cute things people come up with to decorate for the holidays, and I thought it would be really fun to incorporate the idea into a challenge that was kind of open, so we can see lots of different ideas all in one place! Get some ideas from our design team entries below, or wow us with your own unique idea!

Maria - Ria Creations

Maria used papers from Best Creations and a Serendipity stamp for her centerpiece.

Giovana - A Place to Praise and Craft

Giovana used paper from sei's Alpine Frost collection along with a cute glitter chipboard shape from Melissa Frances.

We hope you'll play along. If you upload to Splitcoast stampers, be sure to use keyword MDCC19. Make sure you leave us a comment with a link here as well! This week one player will win the pack of Melissa Frances glitter chipboard shapes that Giovana used! Have a great weekend and happy creating!!

Thanks for another fun challenge! Projects are a lot harder for me than cards! LOL! Maria and Giovana, your samples are beautiful! Here is my submission:

It's pretty simple, but these were fun to make anyway.
Thanks for the inspiration and the stretch!

How fun! I made a flower vase/candy container. See http://takeitsmiling.blogspot.com/. I got caught up in the whole "decor" idea and made a framed picture for autumn too. But even that wasn't enough so I decided to make a winter scene. Next I'll make spring and summer scenes too. You really got me going today! Thanks for the inspiration!

It didn't turn out quite how I envisioned it, but it's still cute. I don't normally do a lot of table decor as the cats just carry it off, but this was fun.
