This weeks challenge was to create a page or altered project about the Beach!

The Unpublished Post

Well, I stayed up late and finished the post on Thursday night so that it would be ready firts thing Friday morning. What a good thought - or at least it would have been if I had actually posted it. I was so pleased with myself for getting it done early, I forgot to hit the POST button! Sorry, Sorry! But here it is now and still beautiful.

The challenge this week was to use the sketch challenge over at 52 Sketches/52 Weeks! We love their sketches and plan to use them more frequently in our new blog schedule! If you decide to play along, please feel free to adapt this sketch to any size you like to work with.

Used the new super glittery paper from Best Creations along with papers from SEI, Kaiser Craft and flowers from Prima.


Robin used Kaiser Craft paper for this owlish creation!

Friday Fun Challenge - Mixed Media

Hi everyone - Welcome to Friday!
This weeks challenge is to use a variety of media types on your card or page.
You pick your project - You pick your theme!

Our design team has put together the beautiful samples below.

Cathy Weider - The Seaside Rose Cottage

has created two beautiful samples.
"Go Confidently" was created with Coordinations card stock, Hanko Washi paper and the Dogwood stamp form Serendipity.

"Just When" features a lovely butterfly image washed with watercolor iridescent medium which makes it shimmer. The tiny butterflies have a liquid pearl center (White Opal) and the paper is from Imaginisce.

Created this cute card using a stamp from Serendipity!

MDCS3 - A New Month!

Wow, how time flies - here we are in June! To mark the flying of time, todays challenge is to use a calendar on your layout! Be creative! It can be the main focus, a background or an embellishment! Our designers have come up with some great ideas, check out their blogs for details!
